“If you’re not gonna give 110%, then keep your filthy hands off my rock!” Passion. Commitment. Excellence. The Clemson Family is notorious for its unwavering dedication, surpassing every expectation and boundary, exceeding every limit, giving nothing less than our all – and then some. We are a community united by an unyielding passion for our alma mater that extends beyond our four years. With each endeavor, in every chapter of our lives, we strive for greatness, embodying the spirit of the tiger and our beloved Clemson University, and we all have one thing in common- we exceed every limit by always giving 110%.
This year marks 110 years of Homecoming traditions, prompting reflection on our commitment to being "All In," exceeding every limit, and what it means to be a Clemson Tiger. Clemson is the rock upon which we stand, and the foundation that has taught us to roll with the punches thrown our way. Clemson fans don’t just love their school, they love it 110%, and just when you feel like you’ve reached maximum capacity on your love, you discover something else that makes you love it even more.
It is tradition to rub Howard’s Rock and vow to give 110% effort. This is the physical manifestation of our pride, our commitment to outperform, outwork, and outplay in every arena – whether on the field, in the classroom, or in our unwavering devotion to Clemson University. It is one of our most loved and thrilling traditions that embodies our relentless pursuit of excellence, propelling our quest to always give 110%.
Beyond the boundaries of our campus, we recognize that our Clemson experience shapes us into individuals committed to making a difference in the world. We are limitless in our efforts to build meaningful relationships, make positive and impactful discoveries, inspire creativity and resourcefulness, and encourage others to give their best as we work together to exceed every limit.
110 years of celebrating Homecoming has created traditions that bring together students, alumni, faculty, future tigers, and fans to remind us of why we are All In as one united Family. It is a time to reflect on memories from decades past, and a time that brings hope for the future. It is a celebration of the here and now and the expectation of greatness.
